Senior Andrew Partigianoni recorded his 150th career point in the Cortland/Homer hockey team's 5-1 win Tuesday night at Oswego. Partigianoni finished the game with two goals.
Cortland/Homer controlled most of the game, taking a 3-0 lead into the third period.
"We have been playing better the last few games, and tonight was another positive step for us," Cortland/Homer head coach Paul Quinlan said. "We pretty much controlled the pace and the had the puck most of the game. We were good on our forecheck and were able to pin Oswego in their end for long stretches tonight. They ran a trap against us, and the kids did a great job of adjusting on the fly to what they were trying to do. We haven’t seen a trap much this year, so it was nice that we could counter with a few minor adjustments."
Hunter Everle added a goal and three assists for the Golden Eagles, Chris Yang had a goal and an assist, Finn Thomas scored a goal and Mitch Riter contributed three assists.
Garret Clark also made 18 saves and allowed just the one third-period goal.
