2 hurt in 281 rollover accident

Two people were taken to a hospital early Saturday morning when a northbound vehicle on Route 281 in Cortlandville hit a truck and rolled at 6:57 a.m.

Cortlandville Fire Chief Mike Biviano said firefighters arrived to find two people trapped in the vehicle, reporting minor injuries. Firefighters freed the occupants. The accident blocked the road and diverted traffic on to Luker Road until past 8:15 a.m.

Cortlandville firefighters, Cortland County sheriff's officers, state police, SUNY Cortland police and TLC Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene.
