The Cortland County landfill closes at noon today because of high winds, the county announced in a news release. It will reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday.
The National Weather Service at Binghamton has issued a wind advisory until 9 p.m., expects winds up to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph, strongest in the afternoon and early evening.
