Retirees balk at city health insurance switch

The city of Cortland will retain a consultant to educate the public and mitigate concerns about a new health insurance plan the city hopes to move its retirees to, saving $1.4 million a year, Mayor Scott Steve said at Tuesday’s city Common Council meeting.
