The construction has started for the season. Groton Avenue in Cortland will be blocked for the next five weeks, and different activities will make both Groton Avenue and Main Street questionable routes for the next seven months or so. The work has to happen. We need the new water and sewer mains to live. We’ll benefit from the better street lighting and new sidewalks. We’ll appreciate an easier, safer-to-navigate network of streets. But we know we’ll be guilty, as you probably are.
We’re going to curse.
