Harold J. Dorward, 68, of DeRuyter, passed away Friday October 28, 2022 at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center.
He was born in DeRuyter, the son of William Sr. and Evelyn Russell Dorward. Harold retired as a custodian at DeRuyter Central School.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed gardening and “tinkering” around the house.
Harold is survived by his sister Carol(Earl) Wilbur of East Freetown, brother William Jr. of DeRuyter, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Joyce Buccina.
The family will have a celebration of his life at a later date. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, DeRuyter.
