Cortland reports no new COVID cases

Cortland County has reported no new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, the number of confirmed cases since the pandemic began remaining 13,662, the state Health Department reports.

Tompkins and Cayuga counties reported seven new cases Monday, the state reported. The three counties have seen 61,538 cases since the pandemic began in March 2020. The number of people who have died from the virus remains 423.

  • No new COVID patients were admitted Monday to Guthrie Cortland Medical Center, the state reported Tuesday. The hospital had eight COVID patients. The state reports 320,072 tests have been administered. The state has reported 136 deaths.

  • Tompkins County saw five new cases Monday, the state Health Department reported. The number of confirmed cases rose to 27,082. The state reports 3,080,460 tests have been administered. The county reports 102 residents have died.

  • Cayuga County saw two new cases Tuesday, the state Health Department reported. Confirmed cases rose to 20,794. The state reports 418,592 tests have been administered, and 185 people have died.
