Cortland County: No new cases

Cortland County reported no new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday, the number of confirmed cases since the pandemic began remaining 13,683, the state Health Department reports.

Tompkins and Cayuga counties reported four new cases Tuesday, and one death, the state reported. The three counties have seen 61,628 cases since the pandemic began in March 2020. The number of people who have died from the virus has risen to 426.

  • No new COVID patients were admitted Monday to Guthrie Cortland Medical Center, the state reported Monday. The last admission was April 17. The hospital had four COVID patients. The state reports 320,761 tests have been administered. The state has reported 137 deaths.

  • Tompkins County saw no new cases Tuesday, the state Health Department reported. The number of confirmed cases remains 27,126. The state reports 3,081,616 tests have been administered and 103 people have died.

  • Cayuga County saw four new cases Tuesday, and one death, the state Health Department reported. Confirmed cases rose to 20,819. The state reports 420,038 tests have been administered, and 186 people have died.
