Carla Plunkett kept a sweatshirt on Saturday as an unseasonably cold day chilled the Cortland City Farmers Market.
The chill kept customers away, Plunkett said – in fact, other vendors left early, too. But it was only the second Saturday this season the market was open at a new location, in front of Grace and Holy Spirit Episcopal Church on Court Street. She expected the sales, like the season, will warm up.
