Peck Memorial Library will host a used book sale Saturday morning as part of the 1890 Union Fair.
The sale takes place in the former opera house on the second floor of the 1894 Queen Anne-style building. The collection is alphabetized by author.
Also on the schedule:
10:30 a.m. — Children’s games, including a sack race, three-legged race and wheelbarrow races.
Noon — Parade down Marathon’s Main Street. It will have no motorized vehicles, but horse-drawn carts, and anyone who wants to sign up at 10 a.m. at the south end of the Civic Building.
1:30 p.m. — Tom Smith Memorial Horse Pull at the green behind the Maple Museum. 3:30 p.m. — Raffle and auction at the Civic Building.
