“The Magic of Movies and Musicals” by Auburn Chamber Orchestra (ACO) will be presented on Sunday, April 23rd at 2:00PM at The Rev Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, 6877 East Lake Road, Auburn, New York, as well as on Tuesday, April 25th at 7:00PM at the Finger Lakes Mall Event Center, 1579 Clark Street, Auburn, New York.
This concert, conducted by Dr. Victor Vallo, Jr., will feature music from Indiana Jones, Superman, The Lord of the Rings, Mamma Mia!, The Phantom of the Opera, Band of Brothers and Star Trek. The concert will include a "side-by-side" event in which students from Auburn Junior High School join our string section for one musical piece. This is an exciting opportunity for younger musicians to work alongside our current members and get a taste of what it’s like to play in the Auburn Chamber Orchestra!
Auburn Chamber Orchestra is in its 36th concert season. The orchestra musicians come from a wide range of age groups, communities and professions.
This family-friendly event, which is open to the general public, is free, although donations are greatly appreciated.
