One person was injured Tuesday evening when a vehicle and a farm tractor collided on Route 221 in Willet, Cortland County sheriff’s officers said.
Officers were patrolling the area around 6:25 p.m. when they saw a motor vehicle disabled in the road, while a farm tractor was disabled off the road.
An investigation showed the tractor was traveling east on Route 221 and was preparing to make a left turn when it was rear-ended by the vehicle, police said.
One person was transported by Marathon Ambulance to a local hospital, police did not provide details on the extent of the injuries.
The Willet Fire Department and Ron’s Towing also helped on scene.
