Chrome Divas to do cancer ride

The Chrome Divas of Cortland women’s motorcycle group will host “Divas and Dudes for a Cure.”

The breast cancer awareness ride will take place Aug. 6. Sign up from 10 to 11 a.m. It starts and ends at the Homer Elks, 82 Cortland St., Homer. Kickstands up at noon. $10 per rider and $10 per passenger. Funds raised go to Renzi Guthrie Cancer Center. Food, raffles and music by Hangmans Heart and Roger Decker. Alanon in Cortland
Alanon meetings are available in person, online and via telephone for those who have been affected by someone else’s drinking.
Several weekly meetings take place in Cortland and Homer:

• Alanon and Alateen meets 7 p.m. Thursdays at the YWCA, 14 Clayton Ave., Cortland.
• A meeting takes place 7:30 p.m. Sundays at Grace & Holy Spirit Church, 13 Court St., Cortland.
• Alanon meets 7:30 p.m. Mondays at Homer Congregational Church, 28 S. Main St., Homer.
