An Andrew Infante-Franks (215 pounds) first-minute pin of Moravia’s Jake Bushey secured Marathon the dual victory. Marathon was set to win the match regardless due to a Moravia forfeit at 285 pounds, but Infante-Franks’ pin made the margin a bit more cushy.

Simon Donah (116 pounds) also won by pin in 55 seconds for the Olympians, while Brendan Gumaer (152 pounds) and Jonathan Irwin (170 pounds) both won in the first period. Irwin pulled off an especially impressive finish, exploding from bottom position to reverse and pin Moravia’s Anthony Enders. Gabriel Crumb (145 pounds) also beat Trever Wells while down 9-2 in the second period and Brian DeForest II (285 pounds) won by forfeit.

Hunter Boynton (131 pounds) and Thomas Harriger (138 pounds) both won matches by pin for Moravia, with Nicholas Plue (190 pounds) winning by injury forfeit and Levi McDonald (160 pounds) winning a 12-0 major decision.

Gabriel Spizzirri (131 pounds) and Ja’Vier Zozaya (138 pounds) lost by pin for Marathon, Caleb Vandee (190 pounds) bowed out of his match after appearing to suffer an upper body injury and Ka’ream Truitt (160 pounds) dropped a decision.
