Three homes tied for first place in the city of Cortland’s holiday lighting award party Thursday:
•Kelly Griffin and Doug Perine, 7 Cedar St.
•Cheryl and Frank Mrozowski, 8 Brook Drive.
•Danny Smith, 110 Tompkins St.
Second place was the John Zarcone family, 12 Westfield Park, and third place was the Sean Whittin family, 3 Yong St.
Those who did not win top awards received a $20 gift card. The main door prize, won by Louie Faldo, was a pair of tickets to any opening night, donated by Cortland Repertory Theatre.
Visions Bank paid for the cash awards, the gift cards, and the refreshments.
The judges included Cortland Community Group executive board members, Mayor Scott Steve, a representative from Visions Bank and a past winner.
