MORAVIA — Assembly Member Jeff Gallahan (R,C-Manchester) has opened a Moravia satellite office at Moravia Town Hall, 1630 State Route 38, he announced Friday.

The office will be open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Constituents can visit staff at the office to share their opinions on state issues and seek assistance if they are having issues with a state agency.

“I am excited to open this new office to best serve my constituents, giving them another way they can reach out to me with their concerns,” Gallahan said. “Many thanks to the town of Moravia for hosting my new office.”

“The first time the Assemblyman and I met we spoke of the challenges associated with the design of the Assembly district,” said town Supervisor Eddie Shea. “With the district spread from west to east, it was clear there was a need for a presence in the eastern region to make it easier for the people to have contact with his office. It only took a minute to realize that Moravia was a great location for that satellite office.”

Gallahan represents the 131st Assembly District, which includes parts of Ontario, Seneca, Cayuga, Cortland, Broome, Chenango and Madison counties.
