No injuries were reported in an electrical fire at 4:30 a.m. Monday at Route 13 in Homer, Homer firefighters said. Assistant Chief Nate Stockwin arrived to find smoke in the attic, which firefighters doused.
Firefighters from Cortlandville, Truxton, McGraw, and the city of Cortland responded, as did the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office and town of Homer Code Enforcement Office.
