The Order of the Eastern Star, Homer Chapter 222, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Masonic Lodge on Route 13 in Cortlandville.
A rehearsal for the draping of the altar will be at 6:45 p.m. The dress code is long whites for women and dark suits for men.
Katina Casterline and Deborah Steinhauser will provide refreshments.
The 14th annual gathering of the Cortland-Madison district will be 2 p.m. Sept. 29 at Bob’s BBQ on Route 281 in Homer. Reservations are required with Shirley Randolph.
