To the Editor:
The Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act just failed again thanks to all Democrats in the Senate and all but two Democrats in Congress voting against it.
That means 258 out of 260 Democrats voted against the bill banning biological men from competing against women and girls in sports.
Some like to frame it as a small issue but according to the United Nations, over 900 women have been denied medals at the hands of biological men who have won those medals globally.
Some of the more notable Democrats from New York State who voted against the bill are Chuck Schumer, Kirsten Gillibrand, Rachel May, Jerry Nadler, Hakeem Jeffries, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Dan Goldman, Josh Riley and John Manion.
Seventy-nine percent of Americans are against biological men competing in women’s and girls sports. This isn’t from some conservative news outlet; it’s from the New York Times. Oh, and 67% of Democrats are against it.
This isn’t just about biological men competing against women and girls in sports. It’s also about biological men being allowed in girls’ locker rooms and showers.
This shouldn’t be a political issue; it should be a common sense issue.
