Daniel John “Danny” Mieras, 67, of Cortland, New York, entered into the Lord’s arms on June 11, 2025, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on August 14, 1957, in The Bronx, New York, Danny was the beloved son of the late Clinton and Leona Mieras.
He is survived by his wife Laura; daughters Natalie and Amanda; sisters Harriet Cates (and Gene) and Cecelia Matthews (and Roy); and brother Clinton Mieras Jr. (and Diane).
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Danny’s life at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland, NY 13045, with visitation held Monday, June 23rd from 2:00-4:00pm immediately followed by a memorial service at 4:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Danny’s memory to The Renzi Cancer Center, 34 W Main St, Cortland, NY 13045.
