Cortland reports no new cases

Cortland County reported no new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, the number of confirmed cases since the pandemic began remaining 13,686, the state Health Department reports.

Tompkins and Cayuga counties reported two new cases Tuesday, the state reported. The three counties have seen 61,653 cases since the pandemic began in March 2020. The number of people who have died from the virus remains 426.

  • No new COVID patients were admitted Monday to Guthrie Cortland Medical Center, the state reported Tuesday. The hospital had three COVID patients. The state reports 321,082 tests have been administered. The state has reported 137 deaths.

  • Tompkins County saw one new case Tuesday, the state Health Department reported. The number of confirmed cases rose to 27,142. The state reports 3,082,020 tests have been administered and 103 people have died.

  • Cayuga County saw one new case Tuesday, the state Health Department reported. Confirmed cases rose to 20,825. The state reports 420,655 tests have been administered, and 186 people have died.
