Cortland County reported four new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday, raising the number of confirmed cases since the pandemic began to 13,223, the state Health Department reports.
Tompkins and Cayuga counties reported 16 new cases Tuesday, the state reported. The three counties have seen 59,811 cases since the pandemic began in March 2020. The number of people who have died from the virus remains 413.
Two new COVID patients were admitted to Guthrie Cortland Medical Center on Monday, the state Health Department reported Tuesday. The hospital had six COVID patients. The state Health Department reports 313,962 tests have been administered. The state has reported 135 deaths.
