Cortland reports 1 new COVID-19 case

Cortland County reported one new case of COVID-19 on Thursday, the number of confirmed cases since the pandemic began remaining 13,687, the state Health Department reports.

Tompkins and Cayuga counties reported no new cases Thursday, the state reported. The three counties have seen 61,656 cases since the pandemic began in March 2020. The number of people who have died from the virus remains 427.

  • No new COVID patients were admitted Wednesday to Guthrie Cortland Medical Center, the state reported Thursday. The hospital had one COVID patient. The state reports 321,151 tests have been administered. The state has reported 137 deaths.

  • Tompkins County saw no new cases Thursday, the state Health Department reported. The number of confirmed cases remains 27,142. The state reports 3,082,166 tests have been administered and 103 people have died.

  • Cayuga County saw no new cases Thursday, the state Health Department reported. Confirmed cases remains 20,827. The state reports 420,851 tests have been administered, and 187 people have died.
