Cortland County: 1 new COVID-19 case

Cortland County reported one new case of COVID-19 on Thursday, the number of confirmed cases since the pandemic began rising to 13,685, the state Health Department reports.

Tompkins and Cayuga counties reported four new cases Thursday, the state reported. The three counties have seen 61,640 cases since the pandemic began in March 2020. The number of people who have died from the virus remains 426.

  • No new COVID patients were admitted Wednesday to Guthrie Cortland Medical Center, the state reported Thursday. The last admission was April 17. The hospital had four COVID patients. The state reports 320,883 tests have been administered. The state has reported 137 deaths.

  • Tompkins County saw two new cases Thursday, the state Health Department reported. The number of confirmed cases remains 27,133. The state reports 3,081,757 tests have been administered and 103 people have died.

  • Cayuga County saw two new cases Thursday, the state Health Department reported. Confirmed cases rose to 20,822. The state reports 420,230 tests have been administered, and 186 people have died.
