NOVEMBER PROGRAMS AND HIGHLIGHTS

For Adults

• Wreath-Making, 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 23, McGraw Community Building, 15 Clinton St. Create a fresh pine wreath for the holiday season. All project materials will be provided. Registration is required. Suggested donation of $25.

• Lunch and Learn at the Library: Noon Nov. 6 and Nov. 20 at Southworth Library. Nov. 6: Color and Words - A Creative Thinking and Writing Event with Lisa Harris and Friends. Nov. 20: Science of Weather Forecasting with Drew Montreuil from FLX Weather. Register to reserve a spot.

• Meet and Greet Local Authors, 10:30 a.m. to noon Nov. 2 at Phillips Free Library. Talk to local authors about their books and writing process.

• Hand-Drawn Caricatures with Artist Jim Coon: 2 p.m. Nov. 21 at Lamont Free Library. At the library’s Senior Social watch an artist at work and take home a piece of artwork.

• Sweet 60 and Up! 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 15 at Phillips Free Library. Cooking, chair yoga with Jill Pace, wooden crafts with Charlie Dellow and music by Bradford Allen at 2 p.m. (for all ages).

For Kids and Families

Story Hours:

• Cortland Free Library: 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays, Baby/Toddler Time. Rhymes, stories, and songs designed for children from birth to age 2 and their caregivers. Registration recommended.

• Phillips Free Library: 9 a.m. Wednesdays, Knee High Storytime. Stories, songs, crafts and more, appropriate for toddlers and preschool children with their families.

• Phillips Free Library: 10:30 a.m. Nov. 30, Sensory Story Time. Interactive stories and songs allow for movement and accommodation of varying needs. All children welcome.

• Cortland Free Library: 10:30 a.m. Thursdays, Preschool Story Time. Stories, songs and activities. All ages are welcome, but this program is designed for children ages 3-5. Registration recommended.

• Kellogg Free Library: 10 a.m. Fridays, stories, songs and a snack For ages 0-5.

• Southworth Library: 10 a.m. Fridays, stories, crafts, snacks and more for preschoolers and their families. Homeschool families are also welcome.

For All Ages

• Saturdays at the Library. Free family programs at 10:30 a.m.. Southworth Library: Nov. 2: Counting on Coins; Nov. 16: Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation with Adrian Codrington; Nov. 23: Music and Movement with Miss Angie.
